"Raw Investigations" is a noncommercial online music magazine run by six girls from Germany, France, Brazil, Finland, Sweden and The Netherlands.

We have chosen the name carefully:
Raw stands for unusual questions as well as us. It's going to be pure and honest.
The music we are going to talk about is pretty "raw", too. There is so much unknown, amazing music in this world we want to discover and tell about.

While Investigations should be obvious: journalism has a lot to do with research and there are too many reporters having no idea about it. We are sick of reading articles by "journalists" asking the same questions to the same people all over again but actually having no clue at all.
We neither want to bore musicians nor readers. We're on the side of the music and bands. It's going to be fun for all.

We're very passionate about this and set this website up because we love music.

Our first exclusive guest on Raw Investigations is (imagine a drumroll here!) Max Rafferty. The lovely boy sang us two exclusive songs which you can check out in the goodies section. You may expect a hell more on Max, for he is touring Europe in February and has an interview date with Lisa in Berlin already. Loads to come from the former The Kooks member who impressively proves that it only needs one man to make a band.

One of Lisa's New Year's resolution was to at least go to one gig every month. Not much if you consider she went to about 50 in 2010. But everyone's got to start slowly, innit? On the right you can see a few scheduled gigs to start with and to write about! Say hello if you meet any of us and let's enjoy this musically year together!

Happy New Year, lovely devoted reader!
The six of us are deeply sorry we have neglected you the second half of last year, but things are gonna change. We're not all students anymore. We have moved on. Maud is living in Paris now, doing an awesome internship. Lisa is working at a theatre in Berlin now, after spending her precious time in a hell of a different jobs to pay her rent. Margarita who's been all over the place last year just arrived back in Tampere and is all hot hot heat for the music it has to offer in 2012. Hilda has made her way through difficult exams and is ready to report about our all beloved Sweden (and we can't wait, can we?!) and Jessica, our little chickee has grown up and wants to share her new achieved wisdom with us.
We have hibernated and now it is time to revive, ourselves, our love for music and of course, this website. We hope you are still with us and wish you from the deepest of our hearts all the best for 2012!
